Governing Body and Regulations

This Institute works under the Rules and Guidlines draft by The Management Comittee

THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The Management Committee includes:

• President;

• the Academic General Secretary;

• the Secretary General for Research

• the Administrative General Secretary;

• the Budget Administrator.

The Management Committee ensures the day-to-day management of the Institution under the direction of the President and as such, it executes the decisions of the supervisory Ministry, the Institution's Board of Directors, the Institution Council and takes all which do not fall within the competence of another body. As such:

• He makes all proposals and suggestions that seem important to him to the Institution Council;

• He appoints the administrative and technical staff for execution and collaboration, grants them promotions and dismisses them on the proposals of the head of department concerned;

• It hears appeals against the decisions of the Councils of Faculties, Departments, structures and organizations of the Academy;

• He has full disciplinary power with regard to the administrative staff of execution and collaboration and the students and reports to the Academy Council;

• He draws up the Academy's budget forecasts, submits them to the Academy Council for approval and executes the approved budget;

• It exercises the rights and duties of the owner or the tenant relating to the buildings assigned to the Academy.

Any member of the Management Committee may attend the meetings of the Faculty Councils and all other structures or services of the Academy as well as the examination boards.

The Management Committee meets once a week and sets its own operating rules.
